Alumni Card
The Alumni Card of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen is a symbol of the alumni identity of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. The alumni card aims to strengthen the connection between alumni and the alma mater, making it convenient for alumni to enter and exit the alma mater and still be able to use the relevant facilities designated by the university after graduation.
What Permissions Do Alumni Cards Have?
1. You can swipe your physical alumni card to enter and exit the campus of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
2. Participate in various alumni activities at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.
3. Enjoy a series of cultural and artistic activities discounts at the University Arts Centre, exclusively for alumni.
4. Use alumni card photos for facial recognition to enter the library, where you can read books and study independently. However, the library will be closed to alumni during the exam periods of each semester. The library is only accessible to alumni themselves. If it is necessary for you to bring guests or visitors from outside the university into the library, please contact the Alumni Affairs Office.
Alumni Card Regulations
1. Users of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen Alumni Card must comply with the civil laws and relevant school rules and regulations
2. Alumni cards are the property of the university and only for personal use. They cannot be lent, rented, or sold. Those who violate the above regulations will have their alumni card cancelled and be disqualified from applying for a new one.
3. The alumni card adopts a real name system, and in some occasions, it needs to be used by the individual along with their lD card.
4. Alumni must present the alumni card to access the campus through the security system as required. Each alumnus/alumna is allowed to bring no more than 5 visitors onto campus per visit, If it is necessary to bring more guests onto campus, prior approval must be sought from the Alumni Affairs Office and granted accordingly.
